From the first chakra, it lands as a threat. From the third, a demand. From the fourth, an invitation. From the sixth, it may not need to be said at all.
Communication begins before the first word
“Life is to communicate. Ask what another can hear and answer. Say what encourages.”— From the Kundalini Yoga teachings
Your words matter. The center behind them matters more.
We are always communicating. Before language arrives, the body, nervous system, attention, tone and energetic presence have already entered the conversation.
A foundational yogic text for this immersion asks whether communication becomes liberation or condemnation. Its central challenge is direct: before communicating effectively with another, we must first be in communication with our own Self.
From there, the question changes. Not only: What did I say? But: From which center did I speak—and what did my presence transmit?
Through Kundalini Yoga, meditation, pranayama, mantra and deep listening, we learn to sense what is being transmitted before it is spoken.
Impact is not volume, performance or control. It is the coherence between what you know, what you mean, what you embody and what you choose to say.
Six territories of conscious communication
From automatic reaction to intentional response.
Technique alone cannot make communication conscious. The work begins with perception: seeing what is happening inside us, sensing what is happening between us and choosing how we will participate.
Throughout the immersion, we enter six interconnected territories:
01
The Many Languages of Communication
Recognize what is being transmitted beyond words.
Communication is carried through language, silence, gesture, posture, timing, tone and energetic presence. Learn to notice the complete message—both the one you intend and the one another person actually receives.
02
The Frequency of Communication
The same words can carry an entirely different impact.
Yogic teaching asks us to notice the chakra—or center of consciousness—from which we speak. Communication shaped by survival, desire, control, compassion, truth or intuition does not land in the same way. Learn to recognize the frequency behind the words—and how the center from which you speak shapes what another person receives.
03
The Intelligence of Silence
Create space between stimulus and response.
Silence can listen, protect, withdraw, punish or create possibility. Through Shuniya—the neutral space beneath reaction—we explore how to pause consciously and let a more accurate response emerge.
04
Sunni-ai · Deep Listening
Listen for meaning, not merely for your turn to answer.
Deep listening is not obedience. It is the self-sovereignty to receive information without immediately defending, fixing or interpreting—and the discernment to respond from intuition rather than impulse.
05
Truth, Denial and the Fifth Chakra
Speak clearly without abandoning yourself or attacking another.
The light of the fifth chakra is truth; its shadow is denial. Explore the courage, timing and projection required to express what is true in a form that can be heard.
06
Shadow and Common Ground
Remain present when communication becomes difficult.
Fear, defense and old protective strategies can distort a conversation before we recognize them. Learn to stay with disagreement, identify the deeper issue and search for shared understanding without collapsing your own position.
07
Naad · The Architecture of Sacred Sound
Sound becomes a precise instrument of consciousness.
Enter Naad—the science of sacred sound. Within the Kundalini Yoga tradition, mantra brings together sound, breath, rhythm, repetition and the precise movement of the tongue across the upper palate. A mantra may be sung for joy and connection, or practiced at prescribed beats per minute, with specific pronunciation and duration, for a particular meditative purpose.
08
Japa · The Power of Repetition
Repetition can change the state from which the mind perceives.
Explore japa, selected pauris and longer-form recitations, each carrying a distinct energetic pattern and contemplative purpose. Modern research on complete multisensory mantra practices has reported changes in regional cerebral blood flow and neural connectivity, alongside improvements in memory and executive function. Other studies have observed effects on gray-matter volume. The practice itself—and the deeper technology behind it—is experienced inside the training.

Most communication breaks down before the disagreement becomes visible. We listen through memory, expectation, fear and the need to prepare our own response.
Deep listening asks us to remain present long enough to receive what is actually being communicated—without confusing openness with agreement or neutrality with passivity.
From this steadier ground, intuition becomes more precise, speech becomes less wasteful and difficult conversations can become places of information rather than repetition.
A 60-hour embodied training
Communication becomes a lived capacity.
This is not a course in scripts, persuasion or polished performance. It is a Kundalini Yoga Level Two immersion in the inner mechanics of presence, listening, projection and the conscious word.
The training moves through yogic teaching, kriya, meditation, pranayama, mantra and Naad, self-observation, partner and group inquiry, communication practice and guided integration.
We do not practice in order to sound spiritual. We practice so that our words carry the integrity of our actual presence.

Indra Kaur
Indra Kaur was trained in the original lineage, in the Master's Touch teacher trainings, where the teachings were transmitted in person by the master himself.
She is a Lead Trainer in Kundalini Yoga. She trains and teaches in the United States and Europe.
For more than 25 years, she has taught what most people learn the hard way: a word can lift someone up or cut them down, and once it leaves your lips, its impact cannot be taken back. Your potential and your projection live in your voice.
“Nobody can trigger you. Not because you are isolated, but because you are totally aware of yourself. That is the real liberation.”
