Our Flexible Format allows you to choose how you attend: in person, online, or through a blend of both. The core teacher training sessions will be recorded, so you can review them anytime if you’re unable to join live.

If you need to miss a weekend, you may make it up during the corresponding module in the next training cycle. However, we strongly recommend not missing more than two weekends to stay current with the material and group rhythm.

This program is designed to be more than an academic experience — it’s also an energetic immersion. While you’ll gain intellectual understanding, much of the transformation arises through presence, practice, and shared energy.

New students to Kundalini Yoga are welcome. The Secrets of Yoga Kundalini Teacher Training is designed for practitioners of every level of experience. You will not be at a disadvantage if you’re new to Kundalini Yoga — in fact, a beginner’s mind is limitless, and we all strive to cultivate that openness throughout the training.

Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or just beginning your journey, this program will prepare you to confidently teach and guide others into their own Kundalini experience. Our intention is to offer not only a deep, embodied understanding of Kundalini Yoga through practice, but also the knowledge and understanding behind it.

Absolutely! During the course, you’ll learn every element that makes up a Kundalini Yoga class — including kriyas, mantras, meditations, mudras, and pranayamas. You’ll graduate with both the confidence and understanding to lead classes safely, effectively, and with authenticity.

Yes. The Secrets of Yoga Kundalini Teacher Training places strong emphasis on the broader dimensions of yoga — beyond the physical practice. You’ll explore Humanology, meditation, pranayama, subtle energy, and the chakras, along with practical ways to integrate yogic principles into your daily life. The intention is not only to study these teachings but to live them — cultivating balance, awareness, and authenticity in everything you do.

Every human being moves through emotional cycles — life inevitably includes moments of challenge, drama, and transformation. Immersing yourself in the practice and wisdom of these ancient teachings can be profoundly healing. The process helps to clear the mind, strengthen the nervous system, and elevate your energy.

Many students have found that this training becomes a turning point — a sacred space to release, renew, and reconnect with a deeper sense of purpose. It’s not just a course; it’s an awakening. Get ready to be inspired.

Kundalini Yoga does not interfere with any religious practice because it is not a religion. You can follow a religion and practice Kundalini Yoga or not practice any religion at all. The goal is to build a successful yoga and meditation practice based on experience and knowledge. Almost everyone feels more connected to their higher self when they incorporate a yoga and meditation practice into their daily lives, no matter what beliefs or faith they hold.

Absolutely. This Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training builds upon the foundation of a traditional 200-hour YTT, yet it opens an entirely new dimension of understanding and teaching.

While many teachers are trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, or Ashtanga traditions, few carry the embodied knowledge of Kundalini Yoga — a technology that works directly with energy, consciousness, and transformation. Integrating this lineage into your practice not only deepens your own experience, but also distinguishes you as a teacher who can guide students on multiple levels — physical, energetic, and spiritual.

You’ll explore the dynamics of Kundalini energy through the chakras, the Ten Bodies, the lunar centers, and the power of mantra, gaining tools that expand both your personal and professional capacity.

The Secrets of Yoga Teacher Training offers the same Yoga Alliance–approved certification as KRI. All of our lead trainers were originally trained under the traditional KRI model and bring that depth of experience forward, while also integrating a more expansive, updated approach that reflects the evolution of Kundalini Yoga today.

Kundalini Yoga is unlike any other form of yoga. While styles such as Hatha or Vinyasa focus primarily on physical alignment or flow, Kundalini works directly with the body’s energy systems to awaken higher awareness and vitality.

Each class is intentionally designed around a specific theme or energetic focus — for example, strengthening the nervous system, balancing the glands, healing the heart, or awakening intuition. Through a precise combination of asana, pranayama, mantra, mudra, bandha, meditation, and tantric principles, the practice activates the life force within you and channels it toward transformation.

Kundalini Yoga is often described as both a science and an art — a technology of consciousness that brings clarity, radiance, and inner strength. It’s not just a practice; it’s a deeply charged energetic experience.

Kundalini Yoga is generally safe for everyone, including those who are pregnant. The practice naturally enhances body awareness and supports balance during this transformative time. After the 120th day of pregnancy, certain postures or exercises may need to be modified or omitted for safety.
Our priority is always the well-being of every participant — especially mothers — ensuring that your experience remains both nurturing and empowering.

Many people want a Kundalini awakening but few have built up a system that can withstand the voltage.
Kundalini Yoga will give you a deep awareness of your own energy body and how to build your own personal practice and reveal your own energetic blockages.
We will speak in depth about the process of moving Kundalini energy through the chakras and the effects on different people. It will help you to clarify some of the many misconceptions surrounding the term kundalini “awakening.” The idea is to be able to originate, sustain and control it with a daily spiritual practice or sadhana. Get ready to supercharge your spiritual growth!

I began studying with Yogi Bhajan in the late 1990s. He came from India to the United States in 1969 and dedicated his life to sharing Kundalini Yoga and meditation until his passing in 2004. For that, I have deep appreciation. His commitment and vision brought these teachings to thousands of people around the world, and I will always be grateful for that.

At the same time, I am aware of the pain and harm caused by his sexual misconduct, and I believe and support the women who have spoken up. It’s heartbreaking — and it has also opened an important space for truth, healing, and maturity in our community.

This is a time to move beyond the focus on any one individual and toward a more inclusive, transparent, and compassionate way of sharing these teachings. Sadly, misconduct has occurred across many yoga lineages — and it’s clear that our collective work is to grow beyond the shadow of personality and power.

For me, the focus now is on the teachings themselves — their transformative power, and their potential to continue to serve humanity when practiced with integrity, humility, and love.

My intention is to hold this space with awareness and in a way that honors the essence of Kundalini Yoga, not the personality behind it.

Consistency is an essential part of the teacher training journey. If you must miss a class day, you are required to review the material covered and complete a Make-Up Reflection Form for each missed day, to be submitted the following weekend.

A maximum of four missed days is permitted for graduation eligibility. To preserve the continuity of learning and the collective energetic field of the group, we recommend limiting absences to no more than two whenever possible.

While online participation is available when needed, attending in person offers a deeper energetic and group experience that is central to the transformative nature of this training.

We want you to feel confident about your decision to join this training. If, after completing the first training weekend, you decide the program isn’t right for you, you may request a refund of your tuition minus a $500 non-refundable deposit.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing within the last day of the first weekend’s completion. After that time, tuition is non-refundable, as your space and materials are reserved for the duration of the training.

In exceptional circumstances, partial credit toward a future course may be offered at the school’s discretion.
